Directions for Self Study

Dear Students,

Please one week prior to the live course week, study the material provided in the following order:

• Review the 3 presentations:
  • Importance, Components, and Dynamics of Maritime Transport
  • Technologies for Greener Shipping
  • Total Cost of Shipping
• View the Youtube videos included at the Tab "Videos and Recordings"
• For additional information optionally:
  • Refer to the book "The Geography of Transport Systems" provided (Especially Chapters 5.4 and 6.3)
  • Review the material included at the "Additional Reading" tab

The material is provided to provide you with some basic information and engage your critical thinking. In class we will have time to clarify your questions and assess your understanding.
