Course Info

The Module "Sustainability, Resilience, and Equity in Transportation" is divided in 3 parts.

• Sustainability in transportation, where participants will be presented with its definition, the environmental impacts of mobility, as well as the EU policies that are currently in place regarding sustainability in transport.
• Resilience in transportation systems and strategies for adapting to climate change, including case studies and lessons learned.
• Equity and accessibility, where participants will be introduced with the concept of transport equity and its significance, discuss about social and economic disparities in transport, and relevant case studies. 

   

Through this course, the participants will:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities related to sustainability and resilience in the transport sector.
• Acquire knowledge of transport equity principles and their role in building inclusive and accessible transportation systems.
• Develop teamwork skills through collaborative projects
